I think I accidentally clicked Google Desktop or some option, but I get random news alert windows that pop up every now and then at the bottom of my screen. At first I thought it was annoying ‘cause they seem to be random things that I don't particularly have any interest in. But I kept it on as I thought it would be good for me to get a good dose of current events and it hasn't annoyed me enough where I was gonna put in effort to figure out how to "uninstall" it. But today, a window popped up that said "Verse of the Day: Romans 12:12". Curiously, I clicked on it as usually they are just news headlines, etc. Here's the verse: "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." God is CRAZY..yes CRAZY...He works in amazing ways...He answers prayers in amazing ways. He answered my prayers..in a way, by e-mailing me..hahah..at least in virtual/digital realm of the internet world that I never expected Him to!… He told me exactly what I need to do. It seems so simple and easy...but is it? "Be joyful" …even when you feel like you’ve failed? Yes. …even when your heart hurts? Yes. …even if you’ve recently lost a loved one? Yes. …even when you disappoint someone or they have disappointed you? Yes. …even if the Warrior’s don’t win? YES! “Be patient” …even when you’re 30 and still single? Yes. …even when you feel like there is no hope? Yes. …even when you’re waiting to hear back from a job interview that could change your life? Yes. …even when your friend/boyfriend/girlfriend keeps making the same mistakes over and over again? YES! “Be faithful” …even when you’ve been praying for their salvation for weeks, months, years? Yes. …even if you think there is no way this friendship can be saved? Yes. …even if it seems like your going through trial after trial? ….Yes. …even if…..YES…EVEN. IF. THAT. |
